Screen time, but social

Your phone is feeding a demon.

Screen Demons helps you starve it. Put a coffee on it with friends, build streaks, and take a breath before the apps that pull you in.

Three taps to start

Set up in a minute.
Your demon does the watching.

1

Let it watch your total

Allow Screen Time once. Your daily total powers your demon’s mood, your streak and your challenges. Nothing about individual apps is collected.

2

Challenge a friend

Go no-phone, cut your time by an hour, or skip social media. Pick what’s at stake, from a coffee to a dare, and send it.

3

Watch the demon shrink

Every calm day keeps your demon small and your streak alive. Win and your friend owes you. Lose and there’s always a rematch.

Challenges

Put a coffee on it.

Challenge anyone on your friends list or in your circles. Whoever uses their phone least wins, and the loser pays the stake.

  • No Phone, Reduce Screen Time or No Social Media
  • From 1 to 30 days, starting when you choose
  • Rematch, or go double or nothing

Mindful pauses

A breath before the scroll.

Choose the apps you open without thinking. When you reach for one, a short guided reset appears. Then it’s your call: close it, or open it for a few minutes.

A demon that reacts to your day.

Stay under your daily target and it stays calm. Slip, and it gets restless. Every day lands on a calendar, coloured by how it felt.

Questions

Good to know

Can’t find it here? Email screendemons@gmail.com.

Does Screen Demons see which apps I use?

No. Only your daily screen-time total is shared, with friends you challenge and circles you join. Which apps you use never leaves your phone. The apps you choose for mindful pauses stay on your device.

Is it free?

It’s free to download. An optional Premium subscription is on the way, and the details will be in the app before anything is charged.

Is it on Android?

iPhone is available now. Android is coming soon: join the waitlist below and we’ll email you the day it’s live.

Why does it need Screen Time access?

Your daily total is what powers your demon’s mood, your streak and challenges with friends. Without it there’s nothing to measure, so it’s the one permission the app requires. Notifications and mindful pauses are optional.

How do mindful pauses work?

You pick the apps you open without thinking. When you open one, Screen Demons shows a short guided reset, then you choose to close the app or continue. On Android this uses Accessibility, only to notice which of your chosen apps is in front. It never reads what’s on your screen.

What if a friend doesn’t have the app?

Challenges are between people in the app, so send them your invite link and they can join in a minute.

Can I delete my account?

Yes, any time from Profile. Your account and data are permanently deleted 24 hours later, and you can restore it in that time if you change your mind. See how deletion works.
